Myra Colley
Annual Meeting Intern
Myra Lisa Colley is the 2008 Annual Meeting Intern, beginning employment with TKC in February 2008. Myra is a Class B Shareholder with family ties to Lower Kalskag, where she lived until she was 5 years old then moved to Anchorage where she has resided since.
Myra’s hobbies include drawing portraits, beadwork, taking pictures and scrap-booking. She especially loves to spend time with God in prayer and the Word, and playing with her daughter.
Myra’s biggest long-term goal is to go to Heaven and bring many people with her. She wants to be deeply rooted in the garden of the Lord and become like Jesus. Other long-term goals are raising her beautiful daughter to be a beautiful woman, and somehow, using the abilities she has, to make a big positive difference in Alaska and in turn, the world. Myra recently recommitted her life to God, making Jesus her Lord. She is affiliated with The Great Land Christian Church of Anchorage, AK.
Myra would like to add, “I absolutely love the Kuskokwim! It has enriched our lives in so many wonderful ways. I descend from the Nook family and claim that with much gratitude. Although I spent most of my life in Anchorage, my heart reaches back to the tundra and I see myself returning in the future. I love Alaska and have empathy on its broken heart; I want to help our hurting people by spreading the good news of the kingdom of God and loving people like Jesus does. To me, that is the only importance in this short life. Quyana!!” |
